“Oh, happiness! Is it even possible to be happy on a consistent basis?!” If you find yourself asking this question, know that you’re not alone.

 

Happiness is one of those emotions and state of being that, for some, seems to be distant or something impossible to feel on a consistent basis.

 

Turbulent moments will happen from time to time in life and during times of uncertainty, for some, comes fear. We can either allow this time to make us into better and stronger beings or we can allow it to steal our joy and with that, lose our sense of self.

Even though you can’t change what’s going on outside of you, you do have control over how you feel and react. No longer do you have to allow something else to determine your level of happiness.

This step is the first and very important step because there is no way you can be your own happy place when you have things occupying that space that no longer belongs there.

 

Part One: Part of Step One: What is Your Source of Happiness: This is where you will discover what you have been making your source of happiness and getting you to make yourself your own source of happiness because this is key to moving on to the next step of this course.

Part Two: Step One: Going to the Root of Who You Are: You knowing who you are is critical to anything and everything in your life. This is where you will get to the core of who you are so you know what you need to be doing in order to be your own happy place.

Part Two: Step Two: Go After Your Passions: And the word “passions” is in plural for a reason. This is where you will dig even deeper so your cup can always be full. This fullness is what also allows you to be your own happy place.

Part Two: Step Three: Tend to Your Garden: This is very important because you want to make sure you constantly keep the weeds out of your happiness container and this is the part where you will understand what those weeds are for you and what you need to do in order to keep them out.

 

Remember, being your own happiness will put you in control of your life.

 

Being your own happy place will allow you to experience what you’re going through differently.

 

Your happy place is your strength and your battery charger and that’s why being your own happy place is a must.
